What is VenaSeal?

VenaSeal is a newer treatment for varicose veins that uses a special medical adhesive to close off the problematic veins. Instead of heat or injections, this method involves applying a small amount of adhesive directly into the affected vein through a tiny catheter.

What to expect

The procedure is quick, usually taking about 30 to 60 minutes, and is done in a doctor’s office with local anesthesia, so you’ll feel comfortable throughout. Once the adhesive is in place, it seals the vein shut, preventing blood from flowing through it. Over time, the closed vein will be absorbed by the body.

Many people choose VenaSeal because it’s minimally invasive, requires no needles for anesthesia, and often leads to less pain and bruising afterward compared to other treatments. Most patients can return to their normal activities almost immediately. It’s a great option if you’re looking for an effective, quick solution for varicose veins.
